“Mixed Martial Arts School Promotion Program: Phase I” Program Charter

Purpose
The Mixed Martial Arts Sports Association of Hong Kong, China (MMASAHKC) will assign professional coaches to schools to conduct promotional training sessions during Physical Education classes or extracurricular activity periods. The program systematically teaches fundamental mixed martial arts (MMA) techniques, assists students in improving their skill levels, and emphasizes guiding students in flexibly applying learned skills in actual competitions.
Upon completion of the promotional activities, the coach will consult with participating students regarding their interest in continuing training. Interested students may register for follow-up courses and have the opportunity to be selected as members of the Hong Kong representative team.
To promote mixed martial arts within schools, we aim to enhance teenagers’ technical proficiency through ongoing training and courses that combine theory and practice, helping students gain a deeper understanding of MMA.
This program seeks to attract more youth participation, cultivate their interest, and thereby boost self-confidence, promote physical and mental health, develop coping abilities, and teach self-defense.
In response to the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games (where MMA has become an official event, jointly organized by the Japanese Olympic Committee and the Asian Integrated Martial Arts Association), our federation is honored to be certified by the Asian Integrated Martial Arts Association, which is officially recognized by the Olympic Council of Asia.
We hope to leverage this opportunity to attract more students interested in specialized training and competitions, providing them with a quality starting point to nurture future outstanding talents for the Hong Kong representative team.
