The Mixed Martial Arts Sports Association of Hong Kong, China sent three athletes to compete in the AMMA Manila Open in October, with Chung Pui Wing and Lee Chun Yin winning second and third place respectively.
On December 15, MMASAHKC will host the Hong Kong MMA Championship 2024 at Kowloon City Plaza(KCP), hoping that Hong Kong fighters will achieve great results and attract more promising athletes to engage in MMA.
MMA has always received wide support in Asia. The AMMA Manila Open attracted 88 athletes from 16 countries and regions, with the Hong Kong team sending Chung Pui Wing, Lee Chun Yin, and Kwan Hoi Ling to compete.
In intense competition, Chung Pui Wing stood out in the 65kg category, claiming second place, while Lee Chun Yin secured third place in the 77kg category.
After completing the tournament, the team is gearing up for the Hong Kong MMA Championship on December 15 at Kowloon City Plaza. Players from different countries and regions such as Chinese Taipei and Singapore will also participate.
The Mixed Martial Arts Sports Association of Hong Kong, China hopes that through this championship, more talented Hong Kong athletes will join MMA, promoting the development of the sport.
The event welcomes the public to attend and cheer for the fighters, with free admission.
