The Hong Kong Mixed Combat Championship 2024 concluded on Sunday, the 15th, at Kowloon City Plaza, where a total of 6 new gold belt champions were crowned. Among them, Hong Kong team members Chung Pui Wing and Lee Chun Lam, after winning the championship and runner-up in the men's featherweight gold belt match at 65.8 kilograms, immediately headed to Shanghai for training to enhance their skills in preparation for frequent competitions and the Asian Games challenges in the next two years.

The event was organized by the Mixed Martial Arts Sports Association of Hong Kong (MMASAHKC), aiming to allow the audience to enjoy the technical displays and exciting battles of mixed martial arts, developing MMA into a sport that embodies the Olympic spirit, integrating technicality, safety, and sustainability, introducing more people in Hong Kong to the unique charm of MMA.

The event featured 6 gold belt matches. After winning the men's featherweight gold belt at 65.8 kilograms, Hong Kong team member Chung Pui Wing, along with his opponent Lee Chun Lam, immediately headed to the UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai for a training camp arranged by MMASAHKC and UFCPI. By training with world-class facilities, teams, and top professional MMA fighters, they aim to significantly enhance their skills to prepare for upcoming frequent competitions and the Asian Games challenges in the next two years.
